Overnight Egg & Sausage Casserole

Ingredients
Crust:
16
slices
bread
crusts removed
2 4-
ounce
jars sharp cheddar cheese spread
1
stick butter
softened
Egg Mixture:
beaten eggs
1
cup
milk
1
Small can slice mushroom pieces
1
cup
diced ham or cooked sausage
½
cup
shredded mild cheddar cheese
or a cheese mixture
Instructions
Generously butter an 9x13-inch baking dish.
Trim edges off each slice of bread. Discard bread crusts.
Mix together butter and cheddar cheese spread. Coat both sides of bread and place in the prepared baking dish. Set aside.
Mix together all the egg mixture ingredients and pour over the top of the bread.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Notes
If using a glass 13x9-inch pan, take out 30 minutes before baking and start baking in cold oven. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
