Cranberry-Orange Scones
These delectable Cranberry-Orange Scones are refreshing autumn treat.

Ingredients

all-purpose flour

tablespoon
baking powder

tablespoons
sugar
1/2
teaspoon
salt
1
tablespoon
fresh orange zest
5
tablespoons
cold unsalted butter
cut into cubes

dried cranberries
Soak cranberries in Orange Juice or Orange Liquor

Heavy Cream
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and orange zest in a bowl.
Cut cold butter in small pieces and cut into flour mixture until the pieces are about the size of a small pea.
Add dried cranberries and mix lightly with flour mixture.
Stir in heavy cream and mix until the dough starts to form. Continue mixing/kneading with hands until dough forms a ball.
Turn onto a lightly floured surface and shape into round disk and cut into 8 wedges.
Bake unfrozen on parchment for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly browned
Notes
Can egg wash and sprinkle turbinado sugar on top
Can be frozen. Place frozen scones on parchment paper and bake for 17-18 minutes @ 350 degrees
