Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Krispy Cups
If you love peanut butter cups, or chocolate and peanut butter....you'll love these Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Krispy Cups! The perfect sweet to satisfy that sweet tooth craving!
Servings 16 cups
Ingredients
- 1 cup peanut butter *creamy is what I used chunky works too
- 6 tablespoon honey
- 1 pinch salt
- 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 2 cups chocolate chips melted *I used semi sweet
Instructions
- Line a muffin pan with muffin liners or spray with cooking spray.
- In a small saucepan, melt the peanut butter, honey, and salt over medium heat.
- Once smooth, add the rice krispy cereal to a medium bowl and pour the peanut butter mixture on top.
- Stir to fully coat the cereal.
Notes
Tip: After trying these at room temperature, from the refrigerator, and from the freezer….we all agreed we preferred them from the refrigerator. The chocolate stayed firm, only enhancing the texture of these! However you choose to enjoy these, is up to you though as I don’t think they’ll be around long! Mine lasted 3 days in the house before they got polished off!
You can make these into bars by spreading them into an 8×8 baking pan, or keep them as cups and use a muffin tray! Up to you!
