Baked Brie Using Store-Bought Pie Crust

Ingredients

  • 1 9-Inch Refrigerator Pie Crust:
  • 1 round 8 oz Brie cheese, scrapping off a lot of the white coating
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup nuts I like pecans
  • Enough Kahlua to moisten the mixture – you don’t want it to be runny.
  • Butter flavored PAM spray

Instructions

  • Bake at 25 to 35 minutes at 400 degrees F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay pie crust on baking sheet. Place 8-ounce double-cream Brie round in center of pie crust. Drizzle with 1 ½ teaspoon honey and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts or pecans, if desired. Fold pie crust over Brie, pressing it firmly together in center so it holds. Brush outside of pie crust with a light layer of beaten egg. Bake Brie on middle rack until pie dough is deep golden brown, 25 to 35 minutes.
