You can substitute puff pastry for a flakier dish.
Feel free to leave out the roasted red peppers if you have picky eaters. They taste just as good without the peppers.
You can use any meats and cheeses you prefer. Capicola, Soppresata, Prosciutto, mozzarella cheese, or an Italian cheese blend work great.
You can add pepperoncini peppers or banana peppers.
