Baked Brie, Pear & Pecan Bites
These delicious baked brie bites on Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry Cups,
are topped with diced pears, toasted pecans and a drizzle of balsamic reduction for a fabulous appetizer! These are the perfect holiday appetizer, and they’re unbelievably easy to toss together. Don’t skip the lovely balsamic reduction. It adds that special punch of flavor that just ties everything together!

Ingredients
- 1 pkg. 9.5-oz. *Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry Cups
- 8 oz. Brie cheese cut into 24 pieces
- 1 lg. Bosch pear diced
- 24 whole pecans toasted
- balsamic reduction Recipe Follows
Instructions
- Bake the puff pastry cups according to the package directions. Make sure to put the side with the little circles facing up, because you will punch these out when they’re done baking and fill them with the brie cheese.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Place one piece of Brie cheese in each pastry cup and place the filled cups on a baking sheet. Then Bake at 350 degrees F for about 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Let the pastry cups cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes.
- Top with diced pears and a whole toasted pecan. Drizzle balsamic reduction over the top.

Ingredients
- 1 cup balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- Pour balsamic vinegar into a small saucepan.
- Bring the balsamic vinegar to a boil over medium-high heat. Turn the heat down to low and simmer for approximately 10 minutes, until the balsamic reduces to a syrup that easily coats the back of a spoon. Watch carefully toward the end to ensure it doesn't burn.
- Remove from heat and cool.
- Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
