Ingredients

  • 1 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice or lime juice fresh squeezed
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract
  • 7 ounces marshmallow fluff *
  • 21 ounces cherry pie filling

Instructions

  • Beat the cream cheese in a medium/large bowl with electric beaters until soft, 30 seconds.
  • Add the powdered sugar and beat until fluffy, 1 minute.
  • Add the vanilla extract and lemon juice, and beat for an additional minute.
  • Fold in the Cool Whip until combined. Transfer to a serving dish*
  • Spoon the cherry pie filling on top and crumble a graham cracker over top for garnish.
  • Serve with graham crackers, sugar cookies, pretzels, fruit, or pieces of shortcake.

Notes

* Can be assembled in 7" x 11" 2.75" glass baking dish or individual ramekins
* substitute 2.5 cups Cool Whip for Marshmallow Fluff
Variations:
Try a different flavor extract to add a different flavor to the cheesecake dip. Just make sure it pairs well with the pie filling topping.
Try different pie filing flavors such as apple, blueberry, strawberry and lemon.
Create individual servings by piping or spooning the cheesecake dip into small cups or ramekins and then topping with a tablespoon or so of the pie filling. Super cute and fun for parties!
Another Variation - substituting Cool Whip for the Marshmallow Fluff:
8 ounces cream cheese softened
½ cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon juice not from concentrate
2.5 cups Cool Whip
14 ounces cherry pie filling
Graham Crackers for serving
