Butter Pecan Cookies
Butter Pecan Cookies are made with butter, brown sugar, and plenty of toasted pecans, these cookies are so flavorful. A must bake cookie recipe for the holiday season!

Ingredients
- 1 cup shopped pecans
- 7 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups of all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- a pinch of salt
- Melt a good chocolate melting wafer and drizzle over cookie. and
- Place a pecan halve on top of each cookie.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line baking pan with parchment paper.
- Beat together butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar with an electric mixer, until mixture is slightly creamy.
- Then add the eggs and vanilla extract and beat again for another 2 minutes.
- Add flour, baking soda, and salt and stir until well combined.
- Use a small cookie scoop, place the balls on the prepared parchment paper, then place half a pecan on top of each cookie.
- Lightly Drizzle with chocolate.
- Bake until golden brown, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Notes
I suggest tasting your pecans to ensure they’re fresh. They should be golden in color when you purchase them. For optimal freshness, I suggest storing your pecans in an airtight container in the fridge – they’ll keep for 9 months, or up to 2 years in the freezer.
