- 10" Tube or Bundt Pan
Ingredients
For the Cake
- 1 Box Light Brown Sugar
- 1 cup White Sugar
- 1 stick Butter
- 2 sticks Margarine (oleo)
- 1 cup sweet milk
- 3 cups All Purpose Flour (Sifted) DO NOT USE Self Rising Flour!
- 5 Large Eggs
For the Glaze
- 1 Box Brown Sugar
- 1 Stick Margarine
- 1 cup Carnation Milk
- 1 pinch Creme of Tartar
- 1 tsp Vanilla
Instructions
Cake
- Preheat oven to 325°
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Pour mixture into a 10" greased & floured tube or bundt pan.
- Bake for 1½ hours.
- Let cool, remove from pan and glaze.
Glaze
- Combine all ingredients and cook until icing stage. Pour over cake while still hot.
