Seven Layer Bars

I grew up making these seven layer bars - sweet and supereasy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 stick margarine or unsalted butter
  • 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
  • 6- ounces semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
  • 6- ounces butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup nuts pecans or walnuts
  • 1 14- ounce can sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Place butter in 13 x 9-inch pan and melt; Swirl to coat bottom and sides with butter.
  • Spread graham cracker crumbs evenly over bottom of pan. Layer chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and nuts over crumbs. Pour condensed milk over nuts. Sprinkle coconut over condensed milk. How easy is that!
  • Now Bake until the edges are golden brown, about 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool before cutting into bars.
  • Store refrigerated in an airtight container.
