Whipped Cream Frosting
Ingredients
- 1 8- ounce package cream cheese softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/ s teaspoon salt
- 1½ cups heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, beat together cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and salt at medium speed until smooth. With mixer at medium-low speed, gradually add ½ cup cream, beating until combined, stopping occasionally to scrape down sides of bowl. Gradually add remaining 1 cup cream. Continue beating until frosting is thick and holds its shape when whisk is lifted. Refrigerate until needed.
