Whipped Cream Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1 8- ounce package cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/ s teaspoon salt
  • cups heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  • In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, beat together cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and salt at medium speed until smooth. With mixer at medium-low speed, gradually add ½ cup cream, beating until combined, stopping occasionally to scrape down sides of bowl. Gradually add remaining 1 cup cream. Continue beating until frosting is thick and holds its shape when whisk is lifted. Refrigerate until needed.
