Quick and Easy Dessert

Ingredients

  • Store bought butter pound cake
  • Amaretto
  • Swiss Vanilla or Vanilla Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
  • Toasted almonds

Instructions

  • Place 2 slices of butter pound cake on a plate
  • Top with 2 scoops ice cream
  • Sprinkle toasted sliced almonds on top of dessert
  • Lightly drizzle Amaretto over assembled dessert.

Notes

To toast sliced almonds: Heat oven at 350 degrees. Place sliced almonds on a parchment paper lined pan and bake for 4 minutes. Do not burn. Remove from oven, cool completely and store in baggie so not to lose flavor.
