Water Chestnuts and Bacon (Guppies)

This is a great appetizer to take to have for special occasions. Liked by all ages.

Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Bacon Cut in halves
  • 2 Cans Whole Water Chestnuts Open 1 at a time, sometimes 1 is enough.
  • 1 Cup Catsup
  • 1 Cup White Sugar
  • Round Toothpicks
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • pinch Garlic Powder Add to Catsup mixture

Instructions

  • Wrap each chestnut with raw bacon. Secure with a toothpick. Arrange in 9 x 13 inch glass baking dish with toothpicks standing upright. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. 
  • Carefully drain grease off. Combine catsup, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and sugar; pour over guppies and bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees
  • Enjoy.
